Chris Pratt is set to reprise his role as James Reece in "Savage Son," an adaptation that Prime Video is currently developing. Pratt will again play the former Navy SEAL, who is a Lieutenant Commander, as Amazon develops the latest move in The Terminal List franchise. Amazon is adapting Jack Carr's Savage Son.
Savage Son is based on Jack Carr's novel of the same title, the third book in a series following former Navy SEAL Reece. "Savage Son" is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC, and Civic Center Media.
Peter Friedlander, head of global television for Amazon MGM Studios, said the franchise continues to resonate. He said Savage Son takes the story into its most intense chapter yet. He also expressed enthusiasm about continuing the franchise.
"The Terminal List" originally debuted in 2022, with Season 2 debuting on Oct. 21, 2026. It is unclear whether Savage Son will be a standalone season, like prequel The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, or Season 3 of The Terminal List main series.
