A trailer was released on November 5, 2026 for The Gallerist, an art world satire starring Natalie Portman as a dealer. Roadside Attractions, Vertical and MRC released the first trailer ahead of the film's December 4 theatrical opening. The film is set for a wide theatrical release on December 4.
The premise
"The Gallerist" is a dark comedic thriller directed by Cathy Yan and set in the world of Art Basel Miami. Its inciting incident is Polina passing off an accidental corpse as the centerpiece of her debut show. After a fatal accident at the gallery, Polina and Kiki cover up that the dead body is real, while the art world believes he is part of a sculpture.

Natalie Portman stars as Polina Polinski, a Miami gallery owner facing mounting financial hardship after a nasty separation. Jenna Ortega plays her assistant, Kiki. Catherine Zeta-Jones stars as a veteran who joins the gallerist's scheme, and Sterling K. Brown, Daniel Brühl and Charli XCX also star. The ensemble cast also includes Da'Vine Joy Randolph and Zach Galifianakis.
