Jordan Rodgers, an ESPN college football analyst, chose his brother Aaron Rodgers as the AFC quarterback he trusts most in the playoffs. He cited Pittsburgh's elite defense, its running game and Aaron's MVPs and veteran experience.
Jordan Rodgers backed his formerly estranged older brother Aaron Rodgers again on ESPN's First Take on Wednesday. Jordan Rodgers, 38, made the pick during an appearance on ESPN. On "First Take," he chose Aaron Rodgers as the AFC quarterback he would trust most in the playoffs.
Jordan Rodgers said he made the choice because the Steelers have an elite defense playing at a high level and run the ball. As a result, he said, Pittsburgh is asking less of Aaron Rodgers than perhaps ever in his career. He also said he trusts Aaron because of the MVPs and veteran status, because he has seen everything, and because the Steelers are not requiring everything of him to win.
Jordan Rodgers has been a college football analyst at ESPN since 2016. In late September, he encouraged Steelers fans to have patience while opining about Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 27-6 in Pittsburgh on Nov. 1, 2026.
