The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp named Karen Maciorowski its first-ever chief operating officer following a nationwide search. Camp CEO Hilary Axtmayer said Maciorowski stood out during the search for her thoughtful approach, collaborative spirit, and genuine commitment to meaningful work.

As COO, Maciorowski will lead the organization's finance, information technology and human resources teams. She will also work closely with the CEO and executive team to advance the camp's expansion into the Mid-Atlantic region.

Maciorowski has more than 25 years of nonprofit leadership experience, with senior finance and operations roles at organizations throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. Most recently she was vice president and chief financial officer of the Community Economic Development Fund.

Her connection to the organization dates back two decades, when she worked to support the Birdies for Charity event at the Travelers Championship. Hole in the Wall is the primary charity beneficiary of that event.
