Terence Crawford, 39, retired undefeated in late 2025. On November 4 he suggested on X that he may have one more fight in him and asked Ryan Garcia about a bout at 160 pounds. No comeback fight has been announced, and no timeline is set.

Terence Crawford is seemingly considering a return to boxing after a year of retirement, and the first name he called on was Ryan Garcia. On November 4, Crawford posted on X that there may be one more fight, then asked Garcia about a bout at 160, in a message aimed at the WBC welterweight champion for a middleweight fight. Crawford, 39, said he was considering one more fight and later asked Garcia specifically whether he was willing to make a fight happen at 160lbs.

Crawford also needled Garcia over his interest in a fight with Floyd Mayweather, suggesting Garcia had Mayweather to focus on. He has renewed his interest in fights with Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia on social media and challenged Garcia at 160 pounds.

Crawford retired from boxing in late 2025 with his undefeated record intact. He retired with a 42-0 record after beating Canelo. That September 2025 win over Canelo Alvarez was his last fight. Crawford became a five-division world champion, capturing the undisputed title at three of those weights.

Crawford has not announced a signed comeback fight, and Garcia holds the WBC welterweight title at 147lbs. No timeline has been set for a potential Crawford return.
