Apple plans to release new iPad Air, iPad Pro, and entry-level iPad models in the first half of 2027, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Gurman also indicated that Apple may launch up to three new iPad models early next year.
Gurman said the next iPad Air will feature an OLED display, and the tablet will reportedly get the usual chip upgrades as well. The OLED screen would match the one on the iPad mini. Apple announced a new iPad mini with an OLED display earlier in October.
Gurman expects the next iPad Pro to be equipped with a vapor chamber system that dissipates heat for improved sustained performance. Separately, the OLED touchscreen 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models are Apple's first touchscreen Macs.
