Broadcom is helping finance equipment destined for Anthropic as part of a $63 billion AI compute financing deal. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2027.
Debt structure
Broadcom backs the first-lien lenders against a fall in the equipment's value, up to the full first-lien amount of about $43.5 billion. Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley arrange the first-lien debt, while Blackstone provides the second lien.
