Dafne Keen said she was offered cocaine at wrap parties as a child actor, at around ages 11, 12 and 13. She made the remarks during a Tuesday appearance on the Inside of You podcast with Michael Rosenbaum. Keen said she said no to the cocaine offers. She said that after seeing what cocaine was, she had no interest in it.
Keen said that, as a result of what she witnessed, she has had no interest in alcohol or drugs. She said she has never drunk enough to experience a hangover because she is a real control freak about it. As a teenager, she said, she used to lie about having already taken something so she would not be peer pressured into drinking.
Praise for Hugh Jackman
Keen starred in "Logan" as Laura, the daughter of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, and the film was released when she was 12. Her character is described as the mutant clone and biological daughter of Wolverine, also known as X-23. Keen said Jackman was protective on the set, ensuring no one abused her hours and that she was having fun. She said he gave her positive reinforcement and good advice, and felt like a parental figure. She also described him as the best on-screen dad.
