Michael J. Fox, Niecy Nash-Betts and Debra OConnell, chairman of Disney Entertainment Television, were guest speakers at the event. Nash-Betts told Roberts that a little Black girl would see her name on the sidewalk and realize her dreams are possible. Fox said Stephanopoulos takes his job very seriously, and he jokingly nominated him to run for office in the 2028 election.

In her speech, Roberts thanked Disney for her extensive career and for encouraging her to venture outside her comfort zone. She said she could not believe she and Stephanopoulos, along with Strahan, are the longest-running duo in morning television history. Roberts' wife, Amber Laign, and Stephanopoulos' wife, Alexandra Wentworth, attended the ceremony.
