IonQ reported third-quarter 2026 GAAP revenue of $173.8 million, up 336% year over year, and raised its full-year revenue guidance to between $505 million and $515 million. NVIDIA will deploy an IonQ Superion 256, and IonQ advanced to Stage C of DARPA's Quantum Benchmarking Initiative.

IonQ reported Q3 2026 GAAP revenue of $173.8 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, up 336% year over year and its sixth consecutive record quarter. The company raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to between $505 million and $515 million and expects 110% year-over-year growth in quantum computing revenue for the full year. IonQ Platform segment revenue rose 127% to $90.3 million, and SkyWater Foundry Services segment revenue was $83.5 million.

IonQ reported quarterly net income attributable to the company of $564 million, or $1.42 a share, reflecting a noncash accounting effect from changes in warrant values. Adjusted EBITDA was a loss of $133.6 million, and adjusted loss per share was 29 cents. Cash, cash equivalents and investments were $1.7 billion as of September 30, 2026, and $3.7 billion pro forma for the $2.0 billion equity offering that closed October 16, 2026. Remaining Performance Obligations more than doubled to $1.2 billion, according to COO and CFO Inder Singh.

NVIDIA will deploy an IonQ Superion 256 system as the first on-premise quantum computer at its Accelerated Quantum Research Center. Quantum computing represented approximately two-thirds of new contract dollars signed by the IonQ Platform segment in Q3, driven by Superion 256 demand. Recent contracts include $33 million with SDT for a Superion 256 and quantum memory platform and $25 million from Florida International University for a Superion 256. IonQ also has a $28 million DARPA It's About Time contract for 25 optical atomic clocks, with a $30 million option for 100 more units.

IonQ advanced to Stage C of DARPA's Quantum Benchmarking Initiative, which CEO Niccolo de Masi said includes a potential program value of up to $300 million. IonQ is the only trapped-ion company to reach that stage.

IonQ is acquiring Elisity to extend its quantum security platform. It also signed an $8.2 million agreement with Congruity360 for post-quantum cryptography and quantum key distribution. SkyWater's revenue from quantum customers other than IonQ increased more than 30%. SkyWater expanded its collaboration with D-Wave and signed a multiyear contract with new quantum customer Qolab.
