Triumph canceled the second leg of its 2026 Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded tour, citing sudden and unexpected medical circumstances affecting the band. The band called the outlook positive and said it will return to the stage as soon as possible. Tickets will be refunded automatically.
Triumph canceled the previously announced second leg of its 2026 "Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded" tour. The Canadian rock band announced the decision on Oct. 30. It cited sudden and unexpected medical circumstances affecting the band. The band said it cannot perform in 2026 because of those circumstances.
The band said the circumstances prevent it from rehearsing and moving forward with the current shows as planned. The second leg had been set to begin in just under three weeks. It was scheduled to cover major markets across the Midwest, Northeast, Southwest and West Coast in November and December.
The band did not say which member was affected. Its statement also did not disclose details about the medical circumstances. The band described the outlook as positive and said it will be back on stage as soon as possible, without giving a timetable.
In a recent interview with Talkin' Bout Rock, Rik Emmett said he developed alopecia areata and lost all his hair after the first leg ended in June. He said he was unsure how it would play out before the tour, and that his health is good.
All tickets for the affected dates will be refunded automatically through the original point of purchase. Ticketholders do not need to take action.
The tour lineup is Rik Emmett, Gil Moore, Phil X, Brent Fitz and Todd Kerns. The second leg was to feature the same lineup as earlier in the year. The Reloaded Tour celebrates the band's 50th anniversary, as Triumph formed in 1975.
